Kataoka Takatarō

Kataoka Takatarō is a hereditary name of the Matsushimaya house. According to the Kabuki Actor Directory, the current holder, the first, is the eldest son of Kataoka Nizaemon XV; he took the name at his stage debut in July 1973 at the Kabukiza, as Ichimatsu in Natsu Matsuri. His crest is oikake go-mai ichō.
