A kabuki actor who carries Nakamura Senjaku, a hereditary name of the Narikomaya (Ganjirō) house, having taken the third generation of it in 1995. He is the second son of Sakata Tōjūrō IV and the younger brother of Nakamura Ganjirō.
According to the Kabuki Actor Directory, he was born on 19 December 1960. He made his stage debut in November 1967 at the Kabukiza as Hakuōmaru in Kōbai Soga, under the name Nakamura Kōtarō — the same production in which his elder brother also debuted.
In January 1995 he took the name Nakamura Senjaku III at the Nakaza in Osaka, as Yaegakihime in Honchō Nijūshikō — the same run in which his elder brother became Nakamura Kanjaku V. He received collective recognition in 2005 (Kabuki Actor Directory).
