A summer tour in which the art is handed from parent to child. Danjūrō, Botan, and Shinnosuke travel to six cities, from Kanazawa to Osaka — kabuki's idea of succession, made visible on one family's stage.

FOR FIRST-TIMERSIf this is your first time

Newcomers are welcome. Watching a father, daughter, and son share one stage is the clearest introduction to what succession means in kabuki. Check the official site for venues, times, and tickets in each city.
