NAKAMURA KAISHUN — MYŌSEKI
Nakamura Kaishun
Nakamura Kaishun is a hereditary name of the Kagaya house. According to the Kabuki Actor Directory, the current holder, the second, was adopted by Nakamura Utaemon VI and took the name in April 2002 as Takiyasha-hime in Masakado and Yaegakihime in Honchō Nijūshikō. The Directory notes that Kaishun was his father's haiku name, taken up a year after his death.
He made his stage debut in January 1956 at the Kabukiza as Kansai in Kumo no Hyōshimai, under the name Kagaya Hashinosuke, and took the name Nakamura Matsue V in April–May 1967 (Kabuki Actor Directory).
