たきのやTakinoyaAlso called: Ichikawa Omezō familyCrest: Sumikiri-kaku ni ichiyō-momiji

Takinoya is the yagō (house name) of the Ichikawa Omezō family. According to the Kabuki Actor Directory, Ichikawa Omezō VI is the eldest son of Ichikawa Sadanji IV, and Ichikawa Otora VII his eldest son in turn. The Sadanji family's yagō is Takashimaya, but the Directory records the yagō of these two as Takinoya.

According to the Kabuki Actor Directory, Ichikawa Omezō VI first appeared in January 1973 at the Kabukiza as the daughter Otsū in Sakaya, made his stage debut in February 1974 under the name Ichikawa Otora VI, and took the name Omezō VI in May 2003 as Narita no Gorō in Shibaraku. The Directory notes that he carries on the specialities of his father Ichikawa Sadanji, including Asagao Senbei in Sukeroku, a role Sadanji I also played.

Ichikawa Otora VII is the eldest son of Ichikawa Omezō and a grandson of Ichikawa Sadanji IV. He took the name and made his debut in May 2003 at the Kabukiza Danjiku festival, as the two boys named Chōmatsu in Banzuin Chōbei and Kamiyui Shinza (Kabuki Actor Directory). Neither the Kabuki Encyclopedia nor the Kabuki Play Guide records a codified repertoire under this yagō.

Crest — Sumikiri-kaku ni ichiyō-momiji: The Kabuki Actor Directory gives the crest of both Ichikawa Omezō VI and Ichikawa Otora VII as sumikiri-kaku ni ichiyō-momiji — a single maple leaf within a corner-cut square.
